"FREE UP" Is Released on Unisoul Records.
Unisoul Records has released “Free Up” from Grammy recognized Smooth Jazz guitarist Scott Marvill. After much focus on other artists via his recording studio “Free up” is Marvill’s first 2021 offering pulling from formal musical education while glimpsing into the actively engaged musical community offered in Philly and more recently in the South.
Dan Hitchcock’s playing is a solid reminder of Marvill’s growing up in a Jazz laden household. “Dan was an easy choice for this piece. Such a smooth and well-rounded player”. All other instruments were either performed or programmed by Marvill guides by thoughtful investigation.
Marvill tends to combine old school jazz with today’s Smooth Jazz resulting in an appropriate storyline for today’s impacting societal issues. Relax, chill and “Free Up”!!
NEW RELEASE: April 17, 2021 "Free Up' to be released.
COVID still impacting performances, although Marvill is starting to accept dates, the recording of new material continues. "Free Up" is soon to be released with Dan Hitchcock on sax. "Free Up" is island slang for relax or chill-out. Seems useful in these times.
Vadim Chelnokov joins Scott to release "Christmas Time Is Here"
Working with Vadim Chelnokov previously on "Horizons" Scott reached out to him for keyboards on the 2020 Christmas song. Just an incredible job adding EP solo, chording, synths. All came together wonderfully. There will be more from this duo!!
CEO David Miranda contacted Scott Marviill and a relationship quickly formed. Shortly after that "Blueish Green" was recorded and released across the UNISOUL NETWORK that reaches 130 countries via internet radio. Soon after "Blueish Green" was on charts scoring several #1s.
In the works is a Unisoul Artists Christmas compilation album and a few original compositions to be released.

Marvill, a multi-instrumentalist who plays keyboards, guitar and bass on the project. This was such a wonderful surprise at the time while under management with Big Noise out of Rhode Island. Al Gomes called me one day and said he had something to tell me. Just a great experience and one that I take with me for the duration of my career.
